After a tiring weekend of play-offs in Bolgatanga, the notable name, Bolga Sharp Arrows emerged victorious, picking the only Premiership slot available to the zone.
It was a weekend fans wished it never came to an end following the quality of football showcased by the teams.
The Arrows began their journey on a good note, beating Wa Royal Ladies two goals to nil; buried two fantastic goals in the net of Tamale Goldfields and sealed their qualification in a grand style by defeating Nananom from Brong Ahafo three nil.
They are now the second club in succession from Upper East Region to gain promotion to the Premiership (women’s version) after Bolga Ghatel Ladies, who unfortunately could not maintain their status.
