The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Isaac Adongo, has inspected seven ongoing and completed development projects he has championed across the constituency. The visit formed part of the MP’s efforts to monitor the progress of projects aimed at improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and water management for residents.
Among the projects inspected was the newly completed Amogrebisi Bridge, which is expected to significantly improve connectivity between communities in the constituency. The bridge, once operational, will ease movement for residents, reduce travel time, and boost economic activities by linking several communities.
Mr. Adongo also visited the Anateem CHPS Compound, which has reached full completion. The facility is expected to provide essential healthcare services to residents in the area, helping to improve access to primary healthcare and reduce pressure on larger health facilities.
Work is also progressing on the Anateem Daycare Centre, which is currently about 50 percent complete. The centre, when completed, will offer early childhood education and care services to young children while supporting working parents in the community.
The MP further inspected renovation works at Nyariga Primary School, which are about 70 percent complete. The project is expected to improve the learning environment for pupils and teachers, thereby promoting better educational outcomes.
Another health project under construction is the Beongo CHPS Compound, which has also reached about 70 percent completion. The facility is expected to expand access to healthcare services, particularly for residents in rural communities.
Mr. Adongo also inspected a community development initiative known as the Tindaana’s Project, which is about 80 percent complete. The project is designed to strengthen local leadership and promote community participation in development decision-making.
The MP’s tour also included the ongoing dredging of the Tindonsobligo-Tindomolgo Dam. The dredging exercise is expected to improve water storage capacity and support agricultural activities in the area while ensuring a sustainable water supply for surrounding communities.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Adongo reaffirmed his commitment to improving the living conditions of residents in the constituency through targeted development projects.
He noted that the projects form part of broader efforts to enhance infrastructure, strengthen healthcare delivery, improve education and support livelihoods in communities across the constituency.
