NPP Nabdam constituency Chairman resigns

The Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Nabdam Constituency in the Upper East region, Denis Ontoyen Kolog, has resigned from his position.

In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party and dated February 16, 2026, Mr. Kolog stated that his resignation takes effect from February 17, 2026.

“I, Denis Ontoyen Kolog, hereby tender my resignation as Constituency Chairman of Nabdam, effective 17th February, 2026,” the letter stated.

Mr. Kolog expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve the party and the people of the Nabdam constituency during his tenure as chairman.

“I appreciate the opportunity to have served the party and the people of Nabdam in this role,” he wrote.

He also pledged his readiness to support whoever succeeds him in order to ensure continuity and stability within the party’s constituency leadership.

“I am committed to supporting my successor. Please accept my resignation and ensure a smooth transition,” he added.

Mr. Kolog’s resignation brings an end to his tenure as the constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Nabdam Constituency. Party officials are yet to publicly announce arrangements for selecting a new constituency chairman to fill the vacant position.
