Energy analyst and member of the New Patriotic Party, Kwadwo Nsafoah Poku, has thrown his weight behind Peter Azaare in the race for the NPP Bolgatanga Central Constituency Communication Officer position.
Mr. Azaare is contesting the position alongside Sulemana Hudu and Yakubu Ayamga.
Speaking ahead of the constituency elections, Mr. Nsafoah Poku said the party needs young and committed communicators to effectively project its message.
“When it comes to communication, we need young, youthful, energetic people like Peter Azaare for Bolga Central,” he said.
“The youth and all the people should know that when people don’t have positions and they are doing their best, always on radio, explaining the party’s policies, explaining government policies, and they are good at communication, already they are not a communication director, but they are doing their best to help the NPP.”
Mr. Nsafoah Poku urged delegates to vote for Mr. Azaare, describing him as one of the best communicators in the party.
“Please, as we are going to vote in Bolga Central, let’s vote for Peter Azaare for the position of Communication Officer. He is the guy that has proven that even without a position, he is the best, one of the best communicators in the country, and Bolga Central is proud to have someone like Peter Azaare,” he stated.
“I’m endorsing Peter Azaare to be our next Communication Officer for Bolga Central. When you go to vote, don’t forget, let’s vote Peter.”
The NPP is set to hold constituency executive elections from July 11 to July 12, 2026, across the country to elect new officers to steer the party at the grassroots level.
