Upper East Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, has appealed to delegates to support his bid for another term, saying his experience and track record make him the best candidate to lead the party’s communications team.
Speaking in a telephone interview on Bolga FM’s Tinmaalgo Sanga programme ahead of the party’s regional executive elections, Mr. Ayamga acknowledged that all three aspirants contesting the position are qualified to serve the party.
However, he urged delegates to consider his years of service, commitment and experience when casting their votes.
According to him, his tenure has helped strengthen the party’s communications machinery across the Upper East Region by creating opportunities for more young people to join the communications team and promote the party’s policies and programmes.
Mr. Ayamga said he had expanded the regional communications network by recruiting more communicators, enabling the party to respond more effectively to political issues and communicate its message across the region.
He said a strong communications team is critical to the success of any political party and pledged to build a more united, vibrant and effective communications structure if re-elected.
Mr. Ayamga appealed to delegates to reward his dedication and experience with another mandate, assuring party members that he would continue to strengthen the party’s communications team, mentor young communicators and enhance the NPP’s public engagement across the region.
