Coach of Ghana’s Black Stars, Avram Grant has said his target is to win every game at the ongoing AFCON in Gabon.
The Coach who was reacting to a question on whether he intends resting some of the key players because his team has already qualified for the quarter-finals said: “our life is not depending on this game but we want to win every game and of course our target is the quarter final”.
The coach mentioned that the team’s target is winning the quarter-final and they will prepare for the hurdle because every team his boys will meet in Semi-finals will be a tough opposition.
He, however, mentioned that the profile of the boys showed that most of them rested and were inactive due to injury and therefore needs more playing time to put them in good shape.
Avram Grant mentioned that they will approach today’s game against Egypt with all optimism to ensure that the Black Stars come out successful.
Ghana plays her last game at the ongoing AFCON tournament againt the Pharoahs of Egypt and is hoping for a revenge after Egypt beat her in the World Cup qualifying series last year.
