The Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, has urged young entrepreneurs to remain patient, disciplined and consistent in pursuing their business ambitions, stressing that success requires sustained effort and commitment.

According to him, limited resources, slow progress and a lack of support should not discourage aspiring entrepreneurs from working towards their goals.

In a message shared on social media, Mr Borketey said building a successful business required more than a promising idea, emphasising the importance of continuous learning, building relationships and personal development.

“Every successful business starts with an idea, but it takes discipline, patience, courage and consistency to turn that idea into something meaningful,” he said.

He encouraged young people to focus on opportunities and resources available to them rather than comparing their circumstances with those of others.

Mr Borketey stressed that entrepreneurs must be willing to acquire new skills, adapt to changing circumstances and take deliberate steps towards achieving their goals, even when their initial efforts yield limited results.

“Your beginning does not have to be perfect, but your commitment to growth must be intentional,” he stated.

The Charger Limited CEO acknowledged that entrepreneurship could be challenging, particularly for young people struggling with inadequate capital and limited support from family, friends and other potential partners.

He urged aspiring business owners to remain focused, learn from their experiences and make the best use of available resources rather than waiting for ideal conditions before taking action.

According to him, young people do not need to have every aspect of their future planned before starting a business, but must demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve along the way.

“Keep building. Keep learning. Your future is worth the effort,” he encouraged.

Mr Borketey is the founder of Charger Limited, a Ghanaian company established in 2012 and known for producing Happy Man Bitters, an alcoholic herbal bitters beverage.

The company has since diversified into other beverage products and haulage services through Charger Transport, which provides transportation services for construction materials.

Beyond its commercial operations, Charger Limited has supported community initiatives, including sporting activities and charitable programmes.

In 2022, the company launched the Happy Man Foundation to support vulnerable and underprivileged individuals through social interventions.
