Ghana has been ranked eight in Africa and forty-fifth in the world in the just released FIFA ranking for the month of February.
Egypt and Senegal were placed first and second in Africa but were twenty-third and thirty-first in the world ranking.
Argentina, Brazil, and Germany occupied the first, second and the third positions respectively in the world ranking.
Ghana failed to end her thirty-five-year-old trophy drought after they came fourth at the just ended AFCON held in Gabon this year.
