GPL Wrap: First win for Bolga All Stars, Aduana Stars held

Bolgatanga All Stars registered their first win in the ongoing Ghana Premier league with a slim margin over Accra Great Olympics in Tamale.

A 50th minute goal from Samuel Norgbey gave the debutants the needed win on match day four of the league.

In Obuasi, the game between Ashanti Gold and Kumasi Asante Kotoko was rained off and has been scheduled for Monday. The game ended abrubtly with 1:1 as the score.

Hearts of Oak ended their winless run when they beat defending champions, Wa All Stars in the Accra Sports Stadium by 2:1 whiles Liberty Professional beat Medeama 3: 2 in an entertaining five goal thriller game.

In Sogakope on Saturday, leaders Aduana Stars were held to a 1:1 draw by WAFA. Aduana opened the scoring through Sam Adams and WAFA equalised right at the start of the second half through Richard Lamptey.

Inter Allies were 2:1 winners over Ebusua Dwarfs at the El Wak Stadium whiles a well motivated Elmina Sharks registered their first win against Tema Youth in a game that produced just a single goal scored on the 90th minute of the game.

In Bechem, Bechem United and Berekum Chelsea drew 1:1 in the Brong Ahafo derby.
