People involved in Kumasi’s Regrettable Misconduct Must Face the Law- Hon. Kpemka

The Deputy Attorney General designate, Hon Joseph Kpemka has condemned the act of insubordination exhibited by the Pro-NPP Group Delta Force in Kumasi.

Speaking on A1 radio’s Morning Show, Daybreak Upper East (DBUE) on Friday, the deputy chairman for Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs of Parliament Stated that the Pro New Patriotic Party group, Delta Force that engaged in such disgraceful act must be treated as common criminals because they have no place in the country democracy

He indicated that the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo will not tolerate any individual who wants to take the laws into his own hands in the name of the party because no one is above the law.

Hon. Kpemka noted that there is a long list of people who acted out of impunity in the previous government and were left without facing the law but mentioned that this is the time to nip all such acts in the bud.

“What happened yesterday was very unfortunate and regrettable incident and all of us lovers of democracy should join hands in one chorus to condemn it with in no uncertain terms and make sure it never repeats itself again, and as well make sure that whoever was involved will be made to face the law,” he told host of Daybreak Upper East.

He called on the Police in the Ashanti region to be up and doing to avert similar occurrences in the near future.
