Ghana’s Black Starlets will take on defending champions, Mali in the finals of the ongoing U-17 AFCON in Gabon.

Mali beat Guinnea 2-0 on penalties on Wednesday to progress to the finals of the competition.

Ghana also edged past Niger through penalties after the game ended in a goalless draw at the end of the ninety minutes. Ghana is hoping to win this year’s tournament to increase her trophy tally to three.

Meanwhile, the Starlets have qualified for this year’s FIFA U-17 world cup which will be held in India.
