The preliminary stage of the most publicized A1 Radio Independence Day quiz has been held.
A1 Radio Independence Day quiz is an initiative by Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio to test some selected Junior High Schools in the Upper East region on their knowledge of Ghanaian history.
In order to select three schools to join winners of last year’s competition, a preliminary quiz was organized by your most trusted news source in Northern, Upper East and Upper West region A1 Radio.
Four schools including Central Lyceum, Grace Valley Academy, Presentation Brothers and SDA JHS took part in the preliminary stage to select three schools for the competition which is expected to be held on March 6.
However, Central Lyceum, Grace Valley Academy, Presentation Brothers made it to the competition whiles SDA JHS were eliminated in the keenly contested competition.
The three schools will join Mount Sinai Educational Complex to battle it out on March 6.
