Ace Sports Analyst and coach of Fankoba FC, Nana Kwaku Agyemang has expressed worry over the selection of Coach Kwesi Appiah for the AFCON 2019 Tournament, saying it is selection of the heart.

The tough speaking coach is of the view that the current selection is not a squad that is ready and prepared enough to end the over 30 years of winning the AFCON trophy, even though he wish Ghana well.

Nana Kwaku Agyemang is judging the state of the Black Star based on matters arising prior to the selection for the tournament and thinks it will be an enormous task.

He was quick to add that the brouhaha before assembling of players for the tournament will not affect the team because to the best of his knowledge, there has always been divisions in the team but they are good pretenders before the camera.

“There have always been blocks, a massive rift in camp but management is always quick deny. These people are smart, they come smiling and acting before the camera but Ghanaians are well aware now and won’t be deceived.” Nana Kwaku Agyemang said.

He made these assertion on “What’s the score” show, a daily sports programme on A1 Radio in the Upper East Region.
Coach of the Black Stars has named 29 players to leave Ghana on the 1st of June for Dubai for a pre-tournament preparations from where 23 players will finally be selected for the AFCON Tournament in Egypt.
