Member of Parliament for Efutu Constituency in the Central Region, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markins has commended A1 Radio for contributing to the media space in Ghana.
Speaking on Daybreak Upper East, the MP noted that though most people do not value the existence of the media space, it contributes to the democratic credentials of every country, which he indicated A1 radio was trekking on that agenda to educate and inform the public with accurate information.
The New Patriotic Party’s MP, therefore assured his readiness to contribute his quota towards accurate information dissemination to the public.
The commendation followed an indepth interview with the lawmaker on recent happenings in Parliament and other matters arising in government.
“Let me commend your radio station to adding on to our democratic credentials by educating people, sometimes people don’t see the value of radio but if you’ve setup a system of educating the people i should say kudos to your station .I’m proud to have shared my thoughts with your people through your platform and I must say that you’ve done well in the first place and we should keep good relationship ahead of us ” He stated.
Mr. Afenyo-Markins is serving on the committee of Defense, Interior and Finance Committee in Parliament.
