NDC DECIDES: Voters Accuse Parliamentary Aspirant Of Sabotage

Some card bearing members of the National Democratic Congress at the Home science voting center have been disenfranchised because their names could not be found in the register although they registered.

These individuals have therefore been prevented from exercising their franchise.

Speaking to one of the disenfranchised members, he indicated that during the exhibition exercise, they could not find their names but were made to fill some forms with the hope of their issue been rectified by the party.

He added that they were presented with some slips when they were registering but they were denied upon showing it to the electoral officials.

Another disenfranchised member pointed to sabotage from the camp of the incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Mahama Ayariga who according to him has lost popularity in Bawku central.

He explained that the polling station was the stronghold of Alhaji Dori and therefore they being disenfranchised is a deliberate attempt to sabotage the hopes of Alhaji Dori.

But speaking to the Presiding officer for the voting center, Abdul Salam Kadiri he explained that the individuals will be denied voting since their names are not found in the register but they could only vote when a directive comes from the party for them to do otherwise.
