Ghana’s leading company in waste management, Zoomlion Ghana Ltd. has pledged to serve the nation better in the coming times in waste management and sanitation.
Speaking at a ceremony in Bolgatanga to unveil 5 refuse trucks and 132 motor tricycles to municipal and district assemblies in the region in order to support waste management services, the deputy upper east regional manager of Zoomlion, Issaka Abubakari said the initiative is in line with the company’s cooperate theme for 2016 which is excellent customer service delivery.
The theme he said was motivated by the company’s awareness of its shortcomings and the need to ensure quality services to its customers.
According to him, in satisfying government’s needs as a customer, the presentation was necessary. He also thanked the president of the republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama for initiating the national sanitation day programme while pledging the company’s commitment to supporting the initiative.
The government initiated the national sanitation day which comes in every first Saturday of every month as part of efforts to deal with the poor sanitation situation in the country. Mr. Issaka also used the occasion to thank residents of the region for their support and effective collaboration in their area of operations. “Let us continue to work hard to make Upper East a happy region and Ghana as a whole. Zoomlion Ghana Ltd promise the people of Ghana better services ahead and with this we do not have any excuse for non-performance or failure”, he added.
