Elizabeth Ayambire tops Regentropfen University College graduates, founder rewards her with Ghc20,000

The 8th Congregation of Regentropfen University College (RUC) reached a heartfelt highlight when Elizabeth Awinongya Ayambire was named the Best Graduating Student, earning a GHC 20,000 cash prize from the institution’s founder for her exceptional academic performance.

Speaking after receiving the award, Ms. Ayambire described her time at RUC as transformational, crediting the university community for shaping her personal and professional growth.

“This has been a remarkable journey. As we move from students to professionals, let’s carry forward the lessons that have shaped us. Let us go into the world as agents of positive transformation, ready to confront challenges with the courage of critical thinkers,” she said.

Presenting the award, Founder and President of RUC, Rev. Fr. Dr. Moses Asaah Awinongya, reaffirmed the university’s dedication to fostering excellence through supportive, value-based education.

“At Regentropfen, we build the best environment, and we prepare our students to be an integral part of that environment,” he said, emphasizing the university’s mission to produce disciplined, impactful graduates.

Meanwhile, RUC in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region has marked a major milestone with the graduation of 70 students and the matriculation of 679 fresh entrants during its 8th Congregation and 9th Matriculation ceremony held on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

The ceremony, hosted on the university Bongo-Namoo campus at Kansoe, was themed “Building Sustainable Futures Through Value-Based Education.”

Addressing the gathering, the Founder and President of RUC, Rev. Fr. Dr. Moses Asaah Awinongya reflected on the institution’s remarkable journey from a modest vision to a beacon of transformation in the region.

“This university, which at the initial stage was laughed at and questioned—why establish a university in the middle of nowhere—has now become a channel of change and development,” he said, drawing applause from students and dignitaries.

Speaking on behalf of the Council Chairman, Professor George Nyarko, a member of the College Council, charged the new graduates to carry forward the values that define Regentropfen University.
