President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Second Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, will visit the Upper East Region from Feb. 3 to Feb. 5, 2026, as part of a nationwide tour aimed at boosting grassroots football development and the sport in general.
During the visit, he will hold stakeholder engagements with clubs, referees and other key actors in the football sector.
He is also expected to pay courtesy calls on the Upper East Regional Minister, the Municipal Chief Executive for Bolgatanga Central, the Regional House of Chiefs, Big Boss, the Technical Centre and the GFA Academy.
The visit is expected to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, address challenges within the sector and identify opportunities for sustainable growth in football development in the region.
