The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bongo Constituency has congratulated Madam Diana Asoketarige Ayamga on her nomination as District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Bongo District Assembly, pending approval.
In a statement, the party described her nomination as a reflection of President John Dramani Mahama’s commitment to promoting gender balance in governance and increasing female representation in leadership.
The statement highlighted Madam Ayamga’s experience as a Regional Administrator with the Ghana Education Service, a trustee of the Teachers and Educational Workers Union, and a Women’s Organizer at the Zorko Awaa Polling Station, noting that these roles demonstrate her leadership and service.
The NDC expressed confidence that she will bring professionalism, integrity, and innovation to the position, building on the legacy of the late DCE, Hon. Joseph Akasake Abaa.
The party also pledged its support for her efforts to advance development in the Bongo District.
“Congratulations on this well-deserved nomination,” the party said in a statement signed by Patrick Anamoo Akuntubgo, Deputy Constituency Communications Officer.
