A group known as “Friends of Prosper” has paid outstanding dues and nomination form fees for 1,368 branch executives in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency ahead of upcoming polling station elections.
According to the group, it stepped in to prevent disruptions to the constituency’s internal electoral activities. The support includes the payment of accumulated dues for all affected branch executives and full funding of nomination forms for candidates.
In addition to the financial assistance, the group said it is providing technical support to help candidates complete the online registration process required for the elections.
The move has eased concerns among branch executives and is expected to facilitate broader participation in the polling station elections.
Branch executives have been advised to verify their payment status through the party’s shortcode system, while prospective candidates requiring assistance with registration have been directed to contact the group’s coordinators.
The polling station elections form part of the party’s internal processes to reorganize its grassroots structures ahead of future political activities.
