Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter and worship leader Winfaati is set to release a remade version of his maiden single, Wina’am Din, as he seeks to expand its reach and deepen its spiritual impact on listeners.
The original song, released on November 24, 2024, has been described by the artiste as a heartfelt declaration of total surrender to God, encouraging believers to align their lives with God’s will and purpose.
According to Winfaati, the remake introduces a fresh sound and renewed spiritual depth through a collaboration with renowned Tamale-based gospel musician and music director Fant Moindib.
“Wina’am Din is more than a song; it is a personal testimony and a call for believers to submit every aspect of their lives to God. We wanted the remake to carry an even greater message of worship and surrender,” Winfaati said.
The remade version features Moindib, an accomplished singer, recording engineer and music director who has played a significant role in nurturing gospel music talent across northern Ghana.
Speaking in a telephone interview, Winfaati described Moindib as “a gifted and experienced gospel minister whose voice and ministry will undoubtedly bless many people through this song.”
Moindib currently serves as Music Director of Melodies of Heaven and the choir of the Sanctuary of Wind and Fire Assemblies of God Church in Tamale. Over the years, he has worked with and mentored several gospel musicians in Ghana’s gospel music industry.
The new rendition, titled Wina’am Din (Remade), was arranged by Fant Moindib and produced by Johannesburg-based music producer Queku Stix.
Winfaati expressed optimism that the song would inspire worshippers and strengthen their faith.
“This remake is a reflection of growth, collaboration and our shared desire to see lives transformed through gospel music. We believe listeners will be touched and encouraged by the message,” he added.
Wina’am Din (Remade) is scheduled for release on June 5, 2026, and will be available on all major digital streaming platforms.
The release is expected to further establish Winfaati’s presence in Ghana’s gospel music scene while showcasing the growing influence of gospel artistes from northern Ghana.
