Report reaching a1radioonline.com suggests that at least one person has died in the accident involving players and officials of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Team Kotoko was on their way to Kumasi after their midweek lose to Inter Allies when the unfortunate accident occurred.
The individual according to reports is an official of the club. Some players including the Captain of the team, Amos Frimpong, Baba Mahama and Adams Ahmed also sustained several degrees of injuries and have since been rushed to the Holy Family hospital.
Although the coach, Steve Pollack and his assistant were trapped in the bus, the effort of the fire service was able to pull them out an hour after the accident.
A statement on the club’s official website has asked supporters and all to pray for the club.
