Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo has said he is saddened by the news of the accident involving players of Asante Kotoko and their officials.
Players and Officials of the Kumasi-based club were involved in an accident while on their way to Kumasi from Accra where they lost a midweek fixture at Inter Allies.
The gory accident took the life of the equipment officer of the team and has left several others injured.
The President expressing how hurt he is by the news said “Saddened by the news of the accident involving players & officials of Kotoko. My heart goes out to the team; speedy recovery to the injured”.
