SAMINIIwan one of Ghana’s finest reggae and dancehall artistes has recently lashed out at Ghana’s reggae dancehall king Samini saying “SAMINI IS NOT A TRUE RASTA”.

Iwan made the comment in relation to the latest song Samini released titled “PINK SHEET” which according to him is a diss song to Ghana’s fasters rapper Sarkodie

In an exclusive interview on Tuesday 30th July, 2013, Iwan told A1 Radio Entertainment Desk that, Samini used some annoying and thought provoking lyrics in the song that for him are not expected to be used by a respected artiste like Samini.

Iwan did not only criticize Samini but also Shatta Rako and Shatta wale. According to him, Shatta Rako released a diss song to Samini and Shatta Wale formally known as Bandana also released a song insulting his Mother (Iwan). He said he expected Bandana to apologize but he never did. For him, this was not a healthy phenomenon for the development of music in Ghana

He was therefore disappointed in the reggae and dancehall artistes in Ghana saying they are creating a negative image of the reggae and dancehall genre of music in Ghana to the world

This is certainly not a good development in the music industry and A1 Radio Entertainment Desk is finding it difficult to understand what exactly is happening to the reggae and dancehall artistes in Ghana. First it was Shatta Wale, then Samini and then Shatta Rako.  Who is next?
