The District Chief Executive of the Bongo District, Peter Ayinbisa has said he will not compromise on quality with regards to the food given to pupils under the school feeding programme.

According to him, each pupil is expected to be fed on eighty Ghana passewas and therefore it is expected that caterers will provide the pupils with a balanced diet and quantity won’t be compromised.

Mr. was speaking to A1 Radio on ‘Reporters visit’, a news programme which runs on the station on Tuesdays and Fridays.

He indicated that caterers who expect to compromise on quality and quantity will be sacked because measures will be put in place to streamline their activities.

“We expect that the caterers do not compromise on quality. Pupils are expected to be fed with eighty pesewas a day so we expect that they are provided with a balanced diet in order to also help in their physical development.”

Mr. Ayimbisa said he will be visiting the various schools intermittently to monitor the activities of the caterers and also check the quality and quantity of the food they serve the pupils.
