The Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service has described A plus’ allegation of corruption against the two Chiefs of Staff Samuel Jinapor and Francis Asenso-Boakye as “baseless”, “unsubstantiated” and without “credibility”.
According to the CID, A Plus could not substantiate the allegations.
A Plus made unspecified corruption claims against the two young politicians on his Facebook page and dared to expose them if they challenged him. He described them as “stupid” and “corrupt”.
President Akufo-Addo later referred the matter to the CID for investigations.
But a statement issued and signed by the Director General of the Police CID, Bright Oduro said after weeks of investigations it was evident the allegations by A Plus lack credibility.
