The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East, Dominc Ayine has declared his intentions to represent the National Democratic Congress in the constituency in the 2020 elections.
His declaration comes on the back of reports that he has no intentions to go for another term as Member of Parliament for the constituency in 2020.
Making his intentions known to the media when he toured some of the various projects he has undertaken in the constituency, the Member of Parliament said there is no way he will abandon his party in times that his services is needed most.
He said “this is the time the NDC needs people like us who have proven track record of excellence to help them wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party. There is no way I will let my party down in these trying times. I will contest the elections in 2020. ”.
The former Deputy Attorney General under the erstwhile Mahama led administration asked individual peddling falsehood of his intentions to step down to put a stop to it but called on them to be bold to challenge him during the primaries.
