The Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), will today hold its National Convention in the Upper East regional Capital, Bolgatanga.
The Convention which is under the theme “Election of MMDCEs for Rapid National Development” will take place at the GNAT hall.
In attendance will be the founder of the party, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and National, Regional and Constituency executives of the party.
Party executives of other political parties in the country are expected at the event.
Chairman of the Local organizing committee, George Afari who spoke to a1radioonline.com said it is expected that by the close of the convention, a clear message would have been sent to Ghanaians and the international community that they are a credible alternative to the NPP in the 2020 general elections.
