Ex-Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Soulama Abdulaye has been laid to rest in Burkina Faso.
The death of the great goalkeeper was reported on Sunday 29th October. The goalkeeper gave up the ghost after suffering a short illness.
A host of friends, family, ex-teammates, and football association officials of Burkina Faso were all present to pay their last respect to the deceased goalkeeper.
Tributes were also read from some of his ex-colleagues from both club and national team in memory of the departed Soulama.
A long funeral procession of about 5 km was also held for the late goalkeeper, before he was finally buried at the Tangora Road Cemetry.
