The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has said he is saddened by the death of broadcaster with the Multimedia Group, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong popularly known as KABA.
KABA was reported to have died yesterday at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after he was rushed to the facility when his blood sugar level rose.
His death hit colleagues, members of the inky fraternity and the public that listens to him.
In a post on Facebook wishing his family well and also asking for God’s divine protection for them, the President said “Shocked by the news of KABA’s death. Undoubtedly one of the most talented journalists of his generation. Condolences to his wife, family and Multimedia. #RIPKABA“.
His body has since been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital morgue.
