Ghana’s President, Akufo-Addo today met with a cross-section of the media for the second time since he took over the governance of the country from the John Dramani Mahama led administration in December 2016.
The President used the opportunity to address several issues bothering on his government including the several allegations of corruption under his government.
On Sports, the President mentioned that he has forgotten that the Commission of Enquiry set up by the Mahama administration after Ghana’s World Cup fiasco had produced a white paper document which provided a blueprint for the administration of football in the country.
The President indicated that the corrupt actions that took place in Brazil in 2014 is not his headache at the moment but mentioned that the Sports Minister is expected to advise the government on what to do with the report.
