The District Chief Executive of the Bongo District, Peter Ayinbisa has asked members of the party vying for various positions in the constituencies to desist from politics of insults because it is an internal contest and they may need each other in the future.

The DCE who was speaking to A1 Radio’s Samuel Mbura said it was imperative for party members seeking leadership roles to be decorous with the electioneering campaign and work towards unifying the party rather than creating division among member.

“They should do their campaign devoid of acrimony because when you vilify your opponent and he/she loses how can you call on that individual to help you with your work for the party? So people involved in the election should be very careful what they say about the opponents on campaign platforms. Let your campaign be devoid of accusations and counter-accusations.”

Peter Ayinbisa indicated that he believes in all the candidates are capable and he is ready to work with any candidate who will emerge as a winner in order to take the Bongo Parliamentary seat from the National Democratic Congress in 2020.
