A Poll organized by Upper East region’s biggest radio entity, A1 Radio has placed Dr. Ayine Dominic ahead of his competitors for the Boltanga East seat.
A1 Radio is running a series of polls to gauge the performances of the various parliamentary members from the region and whether they stand the chance to be given the mandate by the people.
In the poll which is second after that of Bolgatanga Central where Isaac Adongo stood tall, had 63 participants with 35 voting to maintain Dr. Dominic Ayine who is the current Member of Parliament which represents 55.6% of the votes cast.
Other contenders who are Emmanuel Abugre Aboole of the New Patriotic Party and Starling Ayinenongma Baba of the Progressive Peoples party had 15 and 13 votes respectively which represents 23.8% and 20.6%.
Lead producer at a1radio, Stephen Chidozie who leads the polls in an interview with a1radioonline.com indicated that this is an improvement upon the votes cast during the first polls and encouraged the people of Upper East region take part in the poll in order to help the station gauge the performances of their members of parliament.
