Winners of A1 Radio Mothers’ Day Promotion dubbed, “PAMPER MAMA” have received their prize packages and have commended the radio station for the opportunity to tell their stories.
Five mothers were adjudged winners out of 20, after their children have told touching stories about the sacrifices their mothers made to ensure that, they grew up to become responsible adults.

Their prize packages included, a half piece cloth each, a comprehensive medical screening at the amazing Azimbe Maternity Home in Bolgatanga (Zaare), a luxurious big size memorable picture of Mother and child, from one of Bolgatanga’s finest Photographers, Sir Dey of Sir Dey Digital Studio.

To crown the package, each of the mothers received a bottle of wine from A1 Radio and some souvenirs from Azimbe Maternity Home.

The mothers told very touching stories about what moved them to do all that they did to see to the education and proper up bringing of their children. This caused almost all the children who accompanied their mothers to the A1 Radio event to be sobber.

Some were hearing the reason why their mothers loved them so much and sacrifices their comfort for their happiness, for the first time, while others were hearing the reasons one more time.
It was an emotional event that gave listeners and people who witnessed the outdoor broadcast, a lot of life lessons.

A mother of four, who saw greatness in all her children, sold porridge in the morning and evening and did other menial jobs to support her children, as well as other orphans she adopted.
She had always prayed to God to make her children happy and never knew the children also thought same about her.

“I never saw this day coming so soon; I knew one day my children will make me proud before people, but to celebrate me like this on Radio, is beyond my imagination and expectations. God bless you, A1 Radio for giving this opportunity for my daughter to appreciate my sacrifice for her. Am grateful.” She said.

This year’s edition is the second and was good, according the public’s account and Management has promised that the 2019 edition will be better.
