A Social Media and Digital Marketing Consultant, Maximus Ametorgoh has asked Media Houses using digital platforms and social media for News distribution, to ensure that, the quality of their content is not compromised.
According to him, distribution of News has gone through various phases over years and now attention is shifting strongly toward the digital area, hence the need for Media houses to shift towards this platform, so as to meet the interest of their news and content consumers.
Mr. Ametorgoh was speaking as the Lead Facilitator at an MTN Sponsored training for selected Journalists in the Upper East Region on the Effective Ways to use Digital Media for News.
There have been concerns about poor usage of Language, especially English on Social Media and other Digital Platform, as well as compromised contents, thereby creating the impression on the minds of many as being bad or harmful to society.
Mr. Ametorgoh believes that, Journalists working with traditional Media can transfer the same professionalism onto the digital platform, even as they work with speed to meet the interest of digital and social media information consumers.
