Sunday October 21, will offer another opportunity for the ladies participating in TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant, to prove their capabilities and unique traits once again.

Last week Sunday, October 14, saw the first eviction, where Contestant Nuo, representing the Upper West Region and the representative of the Volta region, Dzifa, were sent home.

Now, the table is set for hot contests and hot “judgment” from the Judges of the Competition and the ladies will have to move their performances to higher levels, while their supporters also increase their votes.

In line with the need for public support, the Paramount Chief of Navrongo Traditional Area, Pe Dennis Aniakwo Balinia Adda and elders have called on the people of the Upper East region to increase their support for Wekia, to continue lifting the name of the region higher on the TV3 platform.

Wekia’s uncle, Joseph Weguri who spoke on behalf of Pe Asagpaare II, after the 2018 HAMISOC Football Tournament in Navrongo, said Wekia has so far shown signs of a warrior and therefore will need the support of the public, especially, from the Upper East Region, to keep her in the competition to the final.

“Wekia is not new to Beauty Pageant, she is a brave lady, just as her people here, we are all brave people, including our ladies and so we are always confident in whatever we do. I will urge the people of the region to keep voting for her. She will do well, like she did on the last eviction day, but if the votes don’t come, I wonder what could happen to all her effort.” Joseph Weguri said.

Wekia is the second lady from Navrongo Traditional Area to represent the Upper East Region in the Ghana’s Most Beautiful contest since its inception.

The 2018 HAMISOC (Happy Man Bitters Inter-Community Soccer Competition) was won by Saboro FC, from Saboro Community.

They took home an amount of GHc2,500.00 and souvenirs from Charger Limited, producer of Happy man Bitters and Onaapo Atadwe Ginger Bitters.
