“Sometime in 2016, I went through some of these communities they have mentioned. When I was going round in the night, I realized that some of these places were not haven electricity. I want to assure all of them, that I have already started and I want to, if you like, use a word like a technical word like a gestation period, am busily working. Someone or those who know me, can tell the time I even leave office. At times I leave office very late in the night in order to make sure things are put in order. I will be in the office perusing documents, writing and preparing proposals sending to Accra and lobbying for other angles. I want to assure them, let them give me time and trust in my leadership and let’s together trust each other.” He explained

Speaking on his plans to strengthen the NPP in the District, Prof.  Abole indicated that his focus is to unify the rank and file of the party hence, he will not countenance backbiting and vindictiveness.

“I want them to realize that we build party on unity. We build party on understanding especially when you are in the minority area. You need the little you have in order to add to and am focused on my plans to ensure that anything that will encourage division and create rancor, I discourage it as much as possible. Am tactically and carefully going through a few issues and I want to believe that all things shall be on board for us to see. I will operate affairs in such a way as to inure confidence and once again, the issue of transparency comes in. If there is a style of governance that will make them appreciate what is happening with constant update in certain issues and as at when major issues come, you bring it to the attention of party leadership I mean assembly men and so on and that will bring more trust.” He assured.
