District Chief Executive for Bongo in the Upper East region, Peter Ayimbisa has wagged a stern warning finger to Contractor and Regional Chairman of NDC, Alhaji Bolnaba, ordering him return to the site of some projects he abandoned at the Zorko Senior High School.

His request follows persistent complaints from stakeholders and reports in the Media highlighting the plight of students caused by the abandoned dining hall structure, which they accused, Mr. Bolnaba of taking over six years to complete.

In the lead up to 2016 general elections, the Regional Chairman faced several criticisms for allegedly hijacking major developmental projects in the region under the Mahama led administration, notable among such projects is the Kandiga – Sirigu road.

Currently, the daily ordeal of students having their meals and assembly in the open at has only been alleviated by the Bongo District Assembly which provided them a temporary structure for dining.

Speaking to Newsmen on abandoned Projects, in Bongo at The 2018 District Assembly Town Hall meeting, the Chief Executive, whiles expressing his dissatisfaction over the long delay in completing the GETFund infrastructure, describes the situation as unfortunate.
