Work to resume on Bolgatanga- Bawku-Pulmakom road in three months

Work on the Bolgatanga-Bawku-Pulmakom is set to resume in the next three months. This is according to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who was interacting with Muslims at the Wuriyanga Central Mosque in the Tempane District of the Upper East Region.

According to the Vice President, the road has a lot of economic benefits to the country and that Government is committed to completing the road. He highlighted the numerous projects, policies and interventions of the government including free SHS, planting for food and jobs. He disclosed that ambulances for all 275 constituencies will arrive in the country in the next three months.

While thanking government for the attention given to the Muslim and Zongo community in Ghana through the institution of the Zongo Development Fund and the creation of the Ministry of Inner Cities and Zongo Development, the Iman of the Wuriyanga Central Mosque called on government to consider building one of the green parks in the Tempane district. He also requested for a facelift to be given to the only Islamic school in the area.
