Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency on the ticket of National Democratic Congress, Inusah Fuseini has suggested to the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, should stop making cheap excuses and focus on delivering for the good people of Ghana.

According to the Tamale Central MP, the Special Prosecutor might have underestimated the duties of a special prosecutor and made so much comments and raised the hopes of many Ghanaians who are expecting him to deliver.

“If one or two heads of department are refusing to heed to your demands, you simply have to inform the President who supersedes all departments, that ABC has refused my demands, and not to be making cheap excuses in the media. Perhaps he (Special Prosecutor) can humbly inform Ghanaian that he has failed us.” He said.

The Tamale Central MP who spoke on A1 Radio “Morning Show” on Wednesday, explained that the Special Prosecutor at the time of his appointment was given all the mandatory powers which can help him function fully.

“I’m surprise to hear these excuses coming from the Special Prosecutor because all the mandatory powers were and are at his disposal. But if he is making these concerns, then it is rather unfortunate and simply tells that, he doesn’t fit that office.” He added.

He however, advised the Special Prosecutor to focus on his work and stop making these excuses in the media, because the people of Ghana have faith in him and expect him to work.
