Communications Director of Karela United FC, Eric Alagadede, has said that the performance of the Black Stars at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt has shown that, Coach Kwesi Appiah is a disaster to the Black Stars, hence should be shown the exit door.
According to him, one thing that was clear was that the players do not respect him and he does not have authority over them.
“…that is very true because if you look at the report he just brought out, he is asking of oath of conduct from players and coaches. How can you bring yourself so low to this extend? This simply means that he can not control the players. The previous coaches of the Black Stars did not ask for what he is demanding lately, so this simply means that he has no power to control the players and should be shown the exit door.” He explained.
Mr. Alagadede made these comments on A1 Radio (A1radioonline.com), based in Bolgatanga.
Karela United FC is a football club based in Ayinase of the Ellembele District in the Western Region of Ghana and was founded in 2013.
The club however is amongst others clubs that are competing for the 2019 Ghanaian Normalization Cup Competition.
Mr. Alagadede, however reasoned that though coach Kwesi Appiah has done his best for the Black Stars, there are other professional coaches who can even do better than him when given the opportunity to coach the Black Stars.
“…yes, he has shown that he can coach but he should respect himself and leave the team for the better. The national team is not someone’s personal property where one decides when one leaves. There are other professional coaches who can even do better than him when given the opportunity to coach the Black Stars.”
