The misunderstanding  between authorities at Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly and Butchers in the municipality is fading out as the Assembly intends to relocate the cattle, goats and sheep market closer to the newly built abattoir in Yorigo community in an attempt to meet  demands made earlier by the Butchers.

The Butchers had threatened not to relocate due the cost associated in transporting animals and meat from the abattoir to the sales point.

But the Assembly in a letter copied  A1 News has promised to offer free transportation of meat from the abattoir to the sales point if the Butchers will agree to relocate.

This new arrangement is expected to bring finality on the issue if both parties go according to the arrangement. below is the statement issued by the Assembly.
