Hopes and stakes are high among supporters and management of Accra Hearts of Oak Football Club to bounce back in a proper shape in order to compete effectively both in Ghana and beyond.

In an interview on A1 Radio, Chairman of Hearts Executive Group, an affiliated supporters wing of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited, Dr. Ebenezar Ashley said tough performances of the Club have not been encouraging for some time now , measures are in place to address the challenges.

He has however attributed their recent defeat to Kumasi Asante Kotoko to a biased officiating by the referee and indicated that despite the pain , they have taken it in good fate.

“It will bounce back and take it’s enviable role in the excellence of Ghanaian and African football. The beginning of the year has been a bit turbulent I think the exit of the Coach has actually some little challenges but I’m sure very soon the dust will settle and the Club will take it proper shape and be able to compete effectively. The lost to Kumasi Asante Kotoko was unfortunate and I think the referee was somehow unfair but we take it in good fate” he stated.

Dr. Ashley is therefore calling on all supporters of the Club to remain resolute because all hopes are not lost.
