DISCLAIMER: CoDE-UCC End of Semester Examination is still on suspension

The leadership of the University of Cape Coast Distance Education Students’ Association of Ghana (DESAG) has disclaimed a message circulating on social media that the CoDE-UCC suspended End of the Semester Examination is coming off this weekend.

In a release copied to A1radioonline and signed by the National Secretary of the association, David Mensah and National Public Relation Officer, King Edem Adzagbo the association admonishes the public especially students under DESAG of UCC to “disregard any information of that sort and treat it with the contempt it deserves”.

DESAG in its statement without uncertainty stated that “all activities of CoDE-UCC including End of Semester Examination is still on suspension following the directives in the State of the Nation Address by the President of the Republic of Ghana on 15th March, 2020 and as acknowledged by the Management of CoDE-UCC”.

Meanwhile, A1radioonline source can confirm that a level 300 Marketing student by name, Emmanuel Kpeli at the Frafraha study Centre in Accra is behind the fabricated social media message. The said student, Emmanuel Kpeli according to our source is currently under investigation at the Adenta District police station.
