In his bit to help intensify a nationwide campaign against the spread of deadly Covid-19 pandemic, the Parliamentary Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Rex Asanga has presented one Veronica Bucket, four bottles of alcohol-based hand sanitiser and two bottles of liquid soap to A1 Radio.
Presenting the gesture Friday morning March 27, 2020 at the atrium of the media giant, Mr Asanga explained that the gesture formed part of his widow’s mite to the fight against the deadly virus,
According to him, he has already distributed similar items to clinics and health centers in within the constituency and encouraged the general public to keenly observe all precautionary measures put in to prevent the spread of the virus including regular hand washing, social distancing and regular use of hand sanitiser.
Receiving the items on behalf of staff and management, General Manager of A1 Radio, William Nlanjerbor Jalulah, thanked Mr Asanga for the gesture and wished him well in his endeavours.
He said management of A1 Radio has put in measures to protect staff, visitors and customers of the company but was quick to add that Mr Asanga’s gesture will certainly enhance the measures put in by management.
