Deputy National Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has discredited a communication virally circulated and attributed to him.
The said statement was about a court injunction secured by Ningo Prapram MP, Sam George to stop the Electoral Commission of Ghana from holding a training workshop in his constituency.
But Mr. Obiri Boahen told A1 News in an interview that the circular was fake hence,should be disregarded.
He accused the National Democratic Congress(NDC) of possibly being the brain behind the fake news generated.
Mr. Obiri Boahen indicated that such daft write up will not in any day come from him as an intelligent lawyer of his caliber but NDC boys who have nothing doing with their time after they have been released from the Coronavirus lockdown.
“If some of these NDC boys have mental problem, they better go and see some psychiatrist. For the past 2 weeks, that is what they have been doing, you will read that NPP is going for primaries on this date, NPP is doing this, that is what they have been doing. I mean, madness have taken over from some of them”.he said.
