Ex-Hearts Of Oak CEO, Vincent Sowah-Odotei believes setting up a committee to hunt for a technical advisor for the senior national team, Black Stars, is a show of indecision on the part of the Ghana Football Association led by Kwasi Nyantakyi.
A three-man committee was set up after an executive committee meeting on Monday to review the technical direction of the Black Stars.
However, the Ex-Hearts of Oak CEO believes the Association’s decision to appoint a technical advisor for the senior national team, Black Stars, is a show of indecision on the part of the Nyantakyi led Ghana Football Association.
He said “few weeks ago we were told Kwasi Appiah is the coach of the Black Stars and that his contract have been extended, later reports had it that some members of the Executive committee were opposed to the contract and today we are hearing that the FA is in hunt for a technical advisor for the coach, this has shown that this management practice management of hind sight and trial and error.”
He further stated that, after Ghana’s shambolic show at the just ended world cup, the prudent decision the FA should have taken was not to air an indefinite decision considering how tempers were high but should have met stakeholders to decide on issues before they air any decision.
He explained that the FA did the converse by announcing the renewal of the coach’s contract and denied all rumours of the FA appointing a technical advisor so he is shocked with the current decision to appoint a technical advisor and blames that on indecision on the part of Ghana’s FA.
The Ghana Football Association has formed a three-man committee which is charged with the duty of hunting for a technical advisor for the Senior National team, the Black Stars.
