The Parliamentary Candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) for the Bolgatanga Constituency in the Upper East Region, Francis Ayadago, has promised to dedicate 40% of his monthly salary to support needy but brilliant students in his constituency if he is voted as Member of Parliament (MP) in the December 7 election.

“I will dedicate 40% of my monthly salary in supporting brilliant but needy students, who wish to proceed in higher education, if the good people of the Bolgatanga Central Constituency vote for me on the 7th December.

This is something that I will do in the educational sector. So that in the constituency we will no long have intelligent students sitting in the house because they don’t have financial support to proceed on their education. I will also support our basic schools with furniture to cut down the habit of sitting on floor to write or study.” He announced to supporters of the party in Bolgatanga.

Mr. Ayadago bemoaned what he said is the failure of successive MPs to help develop the sports sector in the constituency and pledged to correct everything that has gone wrong within the sector.

“Over the years you can see that as a constituency we are falling behind when it comes to sporting activities. When you elect me to represent the Bolga Central Constituency in Parliament, the face of football and sport in general will be changed and become attractive; because I will make sure I revamp the sports sector in the constituency.”

He has therefore entreated the constituents to vote massively for him as their next MP to enable him restructure and transform the Constituency.

Francis Ayadago of the LPG on the on December 7 would be battling it out with the incumbent MP, Isaac Adongo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Rex Asanga of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Latifa Abdul-Rahman of the Convention Peoples’ Party (CPP).
