Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that government’s flagship program, Free Senior High School, has sent young girls who would have been serving as house helps in cities to school.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Program, Dr. Bawumia revealed that house maids are now scares in scares in Accra due to Free SHS.
Touting the significance of the policy, the Vice President noted that NPP government’ Free SHS policy is the most important intervention since Ghana attained independence in 1957.
