Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Chief Executive, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has admitted he made a mistake in the sacking of Maxwell Konadu.
Konadu was fired last week, just 5 games into the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
News emerged that Amponsah sacked the former Black Stars B coach without informing the club’s board.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Amponsah admitted he made a mistake by not telling the board about the decision to sack Konadu.
Konadu’s assistant, Johnson Smith, has since taken temporary charge of the team while they are on the look out for a permanent manager.
